Leeuwarden-Friesland is the 2018 European Capital of Culture and it’s never been a better time to go on a vacation. With more than 100 programme components, we show how we Frisians celebrate life and thereby leave a healthy planet behind for future generations. We’re going to stick our heads above the parapet and dare to show the world how we go our own unique way. Culture is not the goal, but the means. Our landscape is the stage and everyone is invited.
