Firdgum is a small village, with a single tower standing on top of the terp, clearly visible against the surrounding meadow landscape. There was once a church here, but now only the tower remains.
Be sure to visit the Yep Hettinga Museum and admire the archaeological treasures that have been discovered. From Firdgum, you can easily explore the surrounding area. There is a Tourist Transfer Point at the museum. Here you will find various walking and cycling routes.
