The monument at the Vrouwbuurstermolen honours participants in the Eleven Cities Tour with tiles bearing their names and the years in which they took part. The idea came from Piet Bron and the monument was unveiled by Klasina Seinstra, the first woman to finish the tour.

The monument depicts the front of a pair of traditional speed skates, topped by a skate. The design consists of a thin steel plate mounted on a frame, with tiles bearing the names of Eleven Cities Tour participants, including Klasina Seinstra, the first woman to finish the tour. The idea came from Piet Bron, who was himself involved in the Eleven Cities Tour and made the monument possible with the support of sponsors. The artwork provides a lasting tribute to local skaters and their achievements and can still be expanded with new tiles.
