This applies to, but is not limited to:

  • De Alde Feanen: Parts of this nature reserve are closed to visitors. However, the open trails still offer a rich and rewarding experience.
  • Schiermonnikoog: Certain beach areas and dunes are temporarily off-limits to protect nesting birds.
  • Lauwersmeer: Some parts of this area are subject to restrictions, especially near bird resting zones.
