Tranquillity, water, countryside, sea, footpaths, bicycle tracks and camping, in short: this is the perfect place for a holiday with the entire family, solo or just the two of you. The Lauwersoog campsite is located by the Lauwersmeer lake in the Lauwersmeer National Park and has every feature required for a lovely holiday. The campsite is open throughout the year and has a recreation team and extensive facilities, such as the magnificent ‘Het Booze wijf’ restaurant with a view of the Lauwersmeer and the museum harbour, free hot water/shower, solar energy-heated sanitary facilities, caravan hire, hiker’s cabins and Swiss cottages, a bus stop by the entrance, a camp shop and a launderette. Camper vans and dogs are welcome. The park also has an indoor and outdoor playground.
