Zonnebloem wheelchair bike

Some routes and nature areas are easier to enjoy with a little extra support. The Zonnebloem wheelchair bike is available in Friesland for people who cannot cycle independently, but would like to go out together with someone else. The bike has electric pedal assistance and, if needed, a manual wheelchair can be placed on the front platform.

In Northeast Friesland, the wheelchair bike can be reserved by calling the reception of one of the care locations in Burgum, Dokkum, Leeuwarden, St.-Annaparochie or Zwaagwesteinde.
