Gnome trail fun

Did you know that gnomes live nearby? At least, that’s what we think, because everywhere you see gnome traces. Little footprints in the sand, wheel tracks from a wheelbarrow, flattened grass from a nap. And sometimes you even see a little gnome poop. Really! If you walk the gnome trail, you’ll find out for yourself.

Park Vijversburg, near Leeuwarden, is open every day and fun for the whole family! For children, there is a special area of the park called "Frijlân." It’s a land where kids are free to explore nature. Among the willows, they can find their own little hideouts or even weave their own shelters. The youngest visitors can enjoy messy play at the water play area, while older daredevils can explore the water labyrinth on a raft.
